What’s the difference between TogetherHealth and my insurance carrier?

TogetherHealth is not an insurance carrier. We’re a licensed insurance agency that guides you through your Medicare plan options from the nation’s leading carriers so you can choose a plan that fits you most. Meanwhile, insurance carriers write Medicare policies, pay claims and manage plans.

When will I receive my new ID card?

The arrival date of your Medicare Advantage card may vary depending on your insurance carrier. If you have not received your card within 30 days, give us a call.

When will I receive my plan/policy documents?

You will receive your plan information within 7 to 10 business days, but delays may occur due to holidays depending on the time of year.

How do I access my plan coverage and benefits?

Please call our Member Services team if you have questions about your plan benefits as outlined in the documents from your insurance carrier (i.e. Evidence of Coverage, Summary of Benefits). We can review your plan with you or connect you to your insurance carrier.

How do I update or change my prescription drugs or preferred doctors with my plan?

You may contact your insurance carrier directly to make any updates or changes to your plan.
